accessibility reviews

What An Accessibility Review Is

An accessibility review is a focused scan of your public-facing digital content to identify high-risk, high-impact issues under Title II. It’s designed to help districts understand where they’re most exposed and what can be addressed quickly, without overwhelming staff or requiring new tools.

Reviews typically focus on:

  • District and school websites
  • Board meeting agendas, minutes, and packets
  • Commonly posted PDFs and Word documents
  • Images, links, and navigation elements
  • Color contrast and basic readability issues

I use a combination of automated scans and manual checks to identify patterns and priority issues. Findings are reviewed through the lens of how districts actually work—what can realistically be fixed in-house and what may need longer-term planning.

  • A plain-language summary of key risks
  • A prioritized list of issues (quick wins vs. longer-term fixes)
  • Specific recommendations staff can implement immediately
  • Optional templates or examples for document remediation
  • Clear notes on what impacts compliance vs. usability

  • Not a full WCAG audit
  • Not legal advice
  • Not a push to purchase software or platforms

  • Small to mid-sized districts and organizations
  • Organizations without dedicated accessibility staff
  • Teams stretched thin who want to offload initial review work
  • Districts preparing for 2026–2027 Title II deadlines

I offer straightforward, flat-fee packages designed to help K–12 districts and education organizations identify and address accessibility risks in their public-facing digital content. Pricing is clear and scalable based on your needs.
